The Kornhaus in downtown Bern was built as a grain store in the early 18th century. After various uses and conversions of the building, a culturally oriented use was determined in a referendum in 1996 - two years later the newly founded Kornhausforum opened its doors there.

With its changing exhibitions, series of events and panel discussions, the Kornhausforum presents socially relevant topics for discussion and invites the audience to take part in this debate. In order to be able to adapt the rooms flexibly and at short notice to the respective use, the Kornhausforum decided on rollable exhibition walls from kub2. The walls can be built again and again in different dimensions and configurations and moved on integrated castors in one piece if necessary.
